GPR MkI RS2000 Restoration

GPR was Dave’s own car. Bought in the late 1980’s. On the surface it looked pretty good. It was only when Dave took the car into the workshop to attend to a small piece of corrosion showing on one of the rear arches that the true picture emerged. A previous owner had gone to great lengths to fill lots of corrosion, even in places like the engine bay where the engine would have needed to be removed to do so! Dave’s first full restoration began.
